The KK BX Bus Service is not public and is available only to Kostume Kult campers.
Unauthorized orders will be cancelled.

Kostume Kult has chartered a Burner Express Bus to take KK campers from our camp in Black Rock City to Reno after breakdown on Monday, Sept 1st at approximately 4:00 PM PT. 

Cost

The cost of this service is $155 and is the same as Burning Man's official burner express service. KK offers this service to campers at cost.

Expedited Exodus 

Riding the KK Burner Express offers expedited departure because our buses pickup within camp (avoiding the bus depot lines) and use Burning Man’s reserved OSS exit lanes that bypass most of the normal traffic. Instead of waiting in line for 10 hours, you’re out of BRC in a matter of minutes.

Departure

The buses will depart from KK’s footprint on Monday, September 1st at 4:00 PM PT or after the final camp MOOP sweep, whichever is later. Announcements will be made in camp. If you miss the scheduled bus, the bus will leave without you. The bus will make one drop off at the Grand Sierra hotel in Reno. You will be responsible for further transportation to your final destination.

Example, anonymous camper…let’s call them Kaveed Kilva…is off having a cute unicycle lesson with the love of their life and is not at KK camp at 4:00 PM … what do we do??? We leave. (a.k.a Radical Self….let’s get the F out of here)

Luggage

Each KK Burner Express bus ticket includes a standard luggage allowance of two luggage items, and one carry-on. Each luggage item may not exceed a total of 62 linear inches (length + width + depth). Additional baggage is not available for purchase or permitted. We recommend using the KK container service as an alternative for excess luggage. 

Bikes cannot be transported.

• All bus tickets are ONE-WAY
• This ticket is NON-REFUNDABLE
• Tickets may only be transferred to another KK camper (no exceptions)
• You are only allowed two pieces of luggage up to 62 linear inches each (total sum of L+W+H) plus one small carry-on. 
• You may not transport a bike
• KK is not responsible for lost or damaged luggage
