Email and SMS for announcements
Significant announcements are sent to your email and archived in our Interested Camper Google Group. All interested campers are automatically added to this group. Emails may be filed under the Promotions or Forums category in your email client (learn why). Our emails come from:

Text (SMS) message updates are sent to the US mobile numbers that you included on your interested camper form.
Fill out the interested camper form to be added to both lists.

Camp Calendar
Add to your Google calendar (Subscribe)
This must be done on a desktop computer or via the “Desktop” view on your mobile browser. It does not work on Google’s mobile app on iPhone or Android.
- Open calendar.google.com
- On the left side column, follow: Other Calendars > + > Subscribe to Calendar
- Copy/paste calendar ID for our shared calendar:
l4rvaek09u253oai1ejjopsevk@group.calendar.google.com- Calendar should show up in your “Other Calendars”
Add to your Apple Calendar (Subscribe)
- Open Apple Calendar
- Choose File > New Calendar Subscription
- Copy/paste our calendar link:
https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/l4rvaek09u253oai1ejjopsevk%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics- Click Subscribe
- Choose a Location in the dropdown. We recommend “iCloud” if available because it will add to your other devices like your iPhone or iPad.
- Under “Auto-refresh” choose “Every day”
- Click “Ok”
- Our events should show up in your calendar
Cost Sharing
Our camp cost sharing this year will be $650 per camper. This covers the cost of dinner every day, drinking water, waste water disposal, showers, porto potties in camp, power to camp and tents, infrastructure, shade structures, frontage and our gift to Playa – the Kostume Experience. We are not collecting separately for tent shade. We are additionally offering a subsidized cost share price for those in need. If you wish to bring an RV or camper van, there will be an additional cost per RV or van.

- You MUST do the following to avoid fees
- Use the “Send money to friends and family“ option
- Use your bank account or PayPal balance, otherwise we will get charged a fee which you will need to pay.
- by Cash or check (made out to Costume Cultural Society) give to Ray or Elisa
We reserve the right to ask for additional payment if there is a discrepancy in the amount we receive into our accounts.
Payment Options – WITH FEE
For our international campers, or in case you have no other choice but to use a credit card: the no-fee options mentioned above may not be available. If you know of another convenient option to transfer money without fees internationally, please let us know and we’ll try to accommodate it.
Please understand that it is often hard to predict exactly how much the fees and other transaction charges might add up to. We reserve the right to ask for additional payment if there is a discrepancy in the amount we receive into our accounts.
Below are several options to pay from abroad, or if you have to use a credit card. Keep in mind that Paypal charges a percentage fee, so if you are paying larger amounts (e.g. an RV fee) it might be better to us a wire transfer. For smaller amounts Paypal is probably a better option.
- Wire transfer – Please email Marianna for specific instructions. You will need to make sure that funds are sent in US dollar amounts, as well as add a $15 fee for every transaction (this is the fee that we are charged for receiving a wire transfer). Your own bank might also charge you an additional fee for sending the wire transfer.
- PayPal Payment (using credit card or bank account) – this includes a roughly 3.9% fee as that as that is the amount that paypal will deduct for most international payments.
Camper Profile
Please fill out the camper profile form to report your ticket status. We need this to know if you still require help finding a ticket. This is different than the interested camper form. Everyone should do this.
