MISSION BRIEF
In a venue in far, far away Bushwick, we join our rebel adventurers and many types of sci-fantasy characters for this infamous psychedelic dance party. Dodge the pew-pews, zwoosh your lightsabers, bend the force and mind-trick those Jedi… And bring that green kid along!
THEME PROTOCOL
On the week when the new SW “Mandalorian and Grogu” Movie hits the theaters, come as anything sci-fi or fantastical — Be iconic or obscure with extra points for being baby versions of any character. At Black & Light Ball all forms of electronic or neon fashions are encouraged – intergalactic or otherwise.

ABOUT
Black & Light Ball is an annual springtime fundraiser for the Kostume Kult arts collective, a 501c3 non-profit arts org supporting costume art, street theater and big fun while bringing wonderful people together. Originally a psychedelic spoof of Truman Capote’s Black & White Ball, BLB #22 is a high tech event mixing glowing light art and fabulous fluorescent fashions illuminated by a vast array of black lights.
