As we spiral into a hyper-technical era, Kostume Kult conjures a black-lit vision of the future, mixing sparks from Cyberpunk, Solar Punk and Raver Punk cultures. In sync with Burning Man 2025βs βTomorrow/Todayβ theme, we flash forward into a world of creative rebellion and 24/7 psychedelia β where idealism meets dystopia and the light fights back. At a sprawling indoor/outdoor venue glowing with UV light and electric energy, we invite you to radiate your most luminous future fashion with LED goggles, neon exosuits, solar-charged corsets, post-apocalyptic ravewear and any amped-up creation that glows, flows, or blinks.

ABOUT
Black & Light Ball is an annual springtime fundraiser for the Kostume Kult arts collective, a non-profit arts org supporting costume art, street theater and big fun while bringing wonderful people together. Originally a psychedelic spoof of Truman Capote’s Black & White Ball, BLB #20 is a high tech event mixing glowing light art and fabulous fluorescent fashions illuminated by a vast array of black lights.
